Full job description

Overview

At REI, data helps us create better experiences for our customers and employees. As the Senior Manager, Store Analytics, you will lead analytics, reporting, and business planning for our Stores organization. You'll manage a team of analysts and partner with teams across the co-op to turn data into clear insights and practical actions.

In this role, you will help shape how we measure store performance across our omnichannel business. You and your team will build and maintain dashboards used by thousands of employees, helping leaders make informed decisions and improve outcomes for stores, customers, and the co-op.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of data experts. Set clear goals, give useful feedback, and support career growth.

  • Build a data plan for stores. The plan will cover reports, dashboards, tests, data science, and business plans.

  • Turn complex data into clear facts and choices. Help leaders use those facts to improve store results and the customer experience.

  • Create models and tools that support store plans, tests, and resource choices across store and digital channels.

  • Guide store data and dashboard needs. Work with Technology and data teams to improve data quality, shared measures, and access.

  • Work across REI to set priorities, improve work steps, and share results in ways that help teams act.

Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of work in data analysis or data science. This may include models, tests, reports, or data visuals.

  • 5 or more years of experience leading data or data science teams. You know how to coach people and help them grow.

  • Skill in SQL and at least one coding language, such as R or Python.

  • Experience turning business needs into research, analysis, and clear advice for senior leaders.

  • A graduate degree in math, statistics, econometrics, operations research, industrial engineering, another engineering field, or a related field is preferred.

  • Experience with predictive or prescriptive models, store or retail data, and large reports is preferred.

Pay Range

$125,300.00 - $212,900.00 per year
