Job Summary:

Acts as a formal resource coordinating others. Coordinates operations through interaction with operations management. Coordinates activities for different areas like Inbound, Outbound, Kitting, etc. based on direction from Operations management.

We are looking for a talented Warehouse Team Lead to join our Distribution business in (Henderson, CO).

This role will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Leaddailywarehouseoperations,includingreceiving,storing,picking,packing,andshippingproducts.

  • Provideleadership,direction,andsupporttowarehouseteammemberstomeetsafety,quality,anddeliveryobjectives.

  • Coordinateworkloadsanddelegatetaskstoensureefficientwarehouseoperations.

  • Supportinventoryaccuracythroughcyclecounting,inventorycontrol,andmaterialmanagementprocesses.

  • Conductqualitychecksfordamagedgoods,inventorydiscrepancies,andnon-conformingmaterial.

  • PromoteastrongsafetyculturebyadheringtoCumminsHealth,Safety&Environmentalpoliciesandleadingsafetyinitiatives.

  • Supportemployeetraining,coaching,anddevelopmenttobuildteamcapability.

  • Drivecontinuousimprovementinsafety,quality,materialflow,productivity,andemployeedevelopment.

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Experience leading or coordinating warehouse operations and team members.

  • Knowledge of receiving, shipping, inventory control, and warehouse processes.

  • Ability to coach, train, and develop team members.

  • Experience utilizing warehouse systems, tools, and inventory control methodologies.

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to make decisions, prioritize work, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Understanding of safety, quality, and continuous improvement principles.

  • Experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, or third-party logistics environments.

  • Ability to identify process improvements and support operational excellence initiatives.

  • High school diploma/GED required; additional education in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

  • Monitorworkflowandprioritizeactivitiestomeetbusinessobjectivesandcustomerexpectations.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identifyopportunitiestoimprovesafety,quality,materialflow,productivity,andemployeedevelopment.

  • Supportimplementationofprocessimprovementsandoperationalexcellenceinitiatives.

  • Maintaincleanandorganizedworkareaswhilesupportingoperatorcareandmaintenanceactivities.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

College, University or equivalent degree in Business, Engineering or related field preferred.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in a related field such as logistics, warehousing and third party logistics provider management.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
