Senior Configuration Management Database Librarian

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Configuration Management Database Librarian to join our team in Doral, FL .

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Establishing, maintaining, and auditing data integrity across all Configuration Management Database records.

• Coordinating with cross-functional technical teams to identify, register, and update configuration items and their dependencies.

• Enforcing standard data entry guidelines, naming conventions, and baseline management protocols for all system records.

• Conducting regular reconciliation audits to detect and resolve discrepancies between physical assets and database records.

• Generating comprehensive configuration status reports and metrics to support IT service management and governance boards.

• Recommending and implementing continuous process improvements to optimize data automation and workflow efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of configuration management or data analytics experience.

• OR an associates degree and 7+ years of relevant experience

• OR a high school diploma and 9+ years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience managing, maintaining, and populating enterprise Configuration Management Databases.

• Experience conducting data verification audits, resolving data discrepancies, and mapping complex service dependencies. Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation Certification (or higher).

• Direct experience supporting U.S. Military Command operations or Department of Defense IT environments.

• Familiarity with automated discovery tools and integration with enterprise Service Desk platforms.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate across diverse technical teams.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must hold a current/active Secret clearance

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.

• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
