Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Python, and enterprise data warehouse development. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions and enterprise data pipelines.

Position Details

  • Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

  • Contract: 12+ Months

  • Location: 100% Remote

  • Pay Rate: $70- $75 /hr on W2

  • Eligible States: Pennsylvania (PA), New Jersey (NJ), and New York (NY)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.

  • Build and optimize complex SQL queries, data models, and data pipelines.

  • Develop data engineering solutions using Python and SQL.

  • Work with Azure Data Factory and Azure data services for data integration and pipeline orchestration.

  • Build, manage, and optimize workflows using Airflow, Informatica, or Automic.

  • Perform SQL performance tuning and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.

  • Implement and maintain metadata management, data lineage, and data governance practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise data initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of overall Data Engineering experience.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python development.

  • Extensive experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse design and development.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory / Azure Data Framework.

  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Informatica, or Automic.

  • Strong understanding of SQL performance tuning and data pipeline optimization.

  • Knowledge of metadata management and data lineage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Pharma data.

  • Exposure to Omnichannel data and related enterprise data platforms.
