We are currently looking for a Peer Advocate intern for the Fall 2026 Semester!

Want to know more? Let’s talk about the technicalities! Direct experience opportunities may include, but are not limited to: • Assisting the peer in the provision of services to patients during the course of treatment.• Assisting in the treatment of patients through collaboration during case conference• Assisting in coordination of care.• Drafting progress notes• Assisting with status updates, court reports, and the submission of the Department of Social Services reports.• Observing transfer requests and psychiatric referrals.• Performing filing and other administrative duties.

Eligibility Requirements:

Current enrollment in a CRPA or MH peer certification is required

Location Information:

This internship will be located in Buffalo, NY. Specifically, it will be located at one of the below locations:

  • 3020 Bailey Ave, Buffalo NY

  • 699 Hertel Ave, Buffalo NY

  • 77 Broadway, Buffalo NY

Schedule Information:

Our internship supervisors strive to offer flexible schedules; however, placements are currently available Monday through Friday. During the application, you’ll be asked to provide your full availability so we can make the best possible match.

Internship Timeline:

  • This internship is for the Fall 2026 semester. Start date will be discussed throughout the interview process and is contingent on a successful completion of all onboarding requirements.
