Full job description

Overview

We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager who's a technically minded storyteller, believes AI and agents will change how every organization works, and who wants to be the one showing them what that looks like.

More than a billion people do their work on Windows, and Windows is where agents are increasingly becoming part of those workflows. Windows delivers hybrid intelligence, running AI securely on the PC and in the cloud and putting each task where it performs best for cost, speed and data. In this role, you'll shape how CIOs and IT leaders at the world's largest organizations experience that story, in the briefing room, on stage and in the demos they remember.

We're the Windows Commercial Marketing team. We're looking for someone to bring the Windows enterprise story to life with technical depth. You'll shape the story, demos, and deeper content that sit behind our messaging, and deliver them to CIOs, CISOs and IT leaders in Microsoft's Executive Briefing Centers and on stage.

If you already use AI for most of your work, have built a few agents of your own and enjoy explaining things like NPUs and small language models to a room of IT leaders, we'd like to talk to you.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day.

Responsibilities

  • Own Windows in the Executive Briefing Centers. That includes the strategy for how Windows shows up in briefings, the Windows EBC narrative and deck, the demo flow, and refreshing all of it every release so what customers see matches what's shipping.

  • Take the Windows enterprise messaging from product marketing and build the deeper content underneath it: explainers, customer-ready briefs and proof points on hybrid intelligence and Windows as a secure platform for agents. Show what modern PCs and partner hardware make possible on the device, and what it all means for an IT leader's cost, security and device plans.

  • Build and run the Windows speaker bench. Choose and coach the speakers, give them the content and demos they need, and deliver the highest-stakes briefings yourself.

  • Shape the demos that tell the Windows enterprise story. Decide which moments customers need to see, build some yourself with AI tools, guide engineering and partner teams on the ones they build, and tie them into a demo flow that fits the narrative. Keep them current as the product changes.

  • Turn each Windows release and major event (Ignite, OEM launches) into enterprise-ready content, working with engineering, product marketing and our OEM and silicon partners to get early builds, devices and customer proof.

  • Track which stories, demos and content land with customers, using briefing outcomes, usage and customer feedback, and bring what you learn back into product marketing and engineering.

  • Embody our Culture  (https://careers.microsoft.com/v2/global/en/culture)  &  Values (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/about/corporate-values)

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • BA/BS plus 5+ years in product marketing, technical marketing, solutions engineering, technical evangelism or another customer-facing technical role, or equivalent practical experience.

  • A track record of telling technical stories to enterprise executives and IT leaders in briefings, keynotes or demos, and examples of work that changed a customer conversation.

  • Hands-on AI fluency. You use agents, copilots and local models in your own work, and you can explain how they work and why an enterprise should care.

  • Strong writing and presenting. You can take a complex platform and hardware story and make it simple without losing what's true.

  • Working knowledge of enterprise IT (security, device management, identity) and how IT leaders evaluate and buy.

  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and moving fast, and you work well across engineering, marketing and partner teams without direct authority.

Nice to have

  • Experience running or presenting in executive briefing programs.

  • PC, silicon or OEM experience, or a background in hardware marketing.

  • Prototypes, demos or agents you've built that we can look at (GitHub, video, blog).

  • Conference or keynote speaking experience.
