La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is a FQHC with several locations in Southern New Mexico. For over 40 years, La Clinica has provided services to the residents of Southern New Mexico. Job Summary:

The Senior EHR Application Specialist serves as the lead functional and technical expert for LCDF's Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform and related clinical applications. This position is responsible for the design, configuration, optimization, support, integration, reporting, and ongoing enhancement of clinical systems that support patient care and organizational operations.

The Senior EHR Application Specialist partners with clinical leadership, providers, quality improvement teams, compliance, revenue cycle, and information technology staff to ensure clinical applications are efficient, secure, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals. The position plays a critical role in workflow analysis, application upgrades, interoperability initiatives, regulatory reporting, user training, and strategic technology projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare informatics or/and Information Technology, Health Information Management, Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

  • Five (5) years or more of progressive experience supporting healthcare information systems.

  • Three (3) years or more of advanced EHR administration, configuration, optimization, or application analyst experience.

  • Experience with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) highly preferred.
