About Bobyard
Construction is a trillion industry still running on manual work. Contractors measure and count materials off drawings by hand — it takes forever, and it caps how many jobs they can bid. Bobyard uses AI to automate takeoffs and estimates, cutting takeoff time by 50–90% and letting contractors send more bids. We're Series A, backed by 8VC, Primary, and Pear, and growing uncomfortably fast.
Position Overview As our Revenue Development organization scales, we're looking for an SDR Team Lead to own the performance, coaching, and development of a pod of outbound SDRs. This is a frontline leadership role for someone who knows how to build pipeline themselves and can turn that experience into repeatable performance across a team. You'll coach across both high-volume outbound and more strategic enterprise business development — helping SDRs navigate larger accounts, identify the right stakeholders, multi-thread opportunities, and build account-level strategy. You'll be accountable for your pod's qualified demos, pipeline generation, and sourced revenue, not just activity. This isn't a purely administrative role. We want someone who stays close to the work and can jump into a call review, strategic account, or difficult prospect conversation when needed. Strong SDRs on this team can grow into Senior SDR, Enterprise Business Development, Sales, or Revenue Development leadership — Team Leads play a key role in developing that pipeline of talent.
What You'll Own
-
Lead the day-to-day performance, coaching, and development of a pod of SDRs — running 1:1s, call reviews, role plays, and performance coaching on cold calling, discovery, objection handling, and qualification
-
Own pod-level results across qualified demos, pipeline generation, and SDR-sourced revenue
-
Onboard and ramp new SDRs into productive contributors quickly
-
Use performance data and call intelligence to diagnose where conversion is breaking down across the funnel, and coach against it
-
Help SDRs build account strategy for strategic and enterprise targets — stakeholder mapping, multi-threading, and coordinated outreach — and partner with AEs to improve meeting quality and opportunity progression on larger accounts
-
Reinforce strong execution across our systems and workflows (HubSpot, Gong, Lemlist, dialing tools)
-
Help improve the processes, messaging, and operating rhythms needed to scale Revenue Development
Desired Attributes
-
Proven success in outbound business development, ideally in B2B SaaS
-
Previous SDR leadership, management, or meaningful player-coach experience
-
Experience prospecting into mid-market/enterprise accounts, including stakeholder mapping and multi-threaded outreach
-
Strong cold-calling skills and the ability to coach both high-volume and strategic motions
-
Comfortable using CRM data, call recordings, and performance metrics to manage and coach performance
-
Ability to hold a high performance bar while investing heavily in rep development
-
Experience with HubSpot, Gong, sales engagement platforms, and dialing tools is a plus; construction or landscaping industry experience is a plus but not required
-
Passion and work ethic — startups aren't easy, this isn't a cushy job at Google; willing to do whatever it takes to win, from coaching to cold calls to convention booths
Benefits
-
Competitive salary, generous variable compensation, 401K matching, and equity
-
Performance-based compensation tied directly to team outcomes
-
Opportunity to build and develop a high-performing SDR team
-
Clear opportunity to grow as our Revenue Development organization expands
-
Opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic, driven team
-
