Local Pay: $50.56/hour

Shift Details:

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Provide speech and language therapy services to support students’ communication and learning needs.
-
Assess students’ speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication abilities.
-
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and educational goals.
-
Provide therapy to improve communication skills, comprehension, articulation, and social communication.
-
Support students with communication challenges that impact academic performance.
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.
-
Monitor and document student progress and maintain accurate therapy records.
-
Participate in evaluations, student meetings, and individualized education planning.
-
Provide recommendations and strategies to support communication skills in the classroom environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Current, valid, and unrestrictedVA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

Master's degree or equivalent in Communications Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
-
Current Speech Pathologist (SLP) licensure in applicable state
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech Language-Hearing Association (CCC-ASHA)
-
American Heart Association BLS, for Health Care Providers
-
Minimum 1+ years’ experience as a Speech Pathologist (SLP)

Additional certifications may be required.

Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents
