Remote D365 ERP Project Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a remote ERP Project Manager to support one of our hardwood manufacturing clients. The ERP Project Manager works under the direction of the ERP Program Manager and collaborates closely with business process owners, functional teams, IT architects, and system integrators. This role directly manages individual ERP workstreams (e.g., Finance, Sales, Manufacturing), ensuring delivery within defined scope, schedule, and quality standards. The role is also expected to manage & provide oversite to all other project managers working on the program, most importantly the prime ERP Implementation partner, ensure all project schedules are planned out and aligned, risks are tracked, and outcomes are met on time & on budget.

• Stakeholder Management: Ability to align SMEs, BPOs, vendors, and technical teams
• ERP Lifecycle Knowledge: Hands-on experience with testing cycles, data conversion, cutover, and hyper care

Skills and Requirements

• 5-10 years of ERP Project Management Experience

• Experience leading an ERP implementation project from end to end

• Experience managing multiple D365 projects for a manufacturing company near client size - >10 locations o Scale of $20-30M, 50-100 person teams

• Exp. managing cross functional teams

• Experience with resource / capacity planning of resources

• Exp. creating comprehensive project plans

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience o D365 Methodology experience, sure step experience

• Azure DevOps Experience

• Consulting background

• Experience working for an implementation partner

• Background working on the client side
