Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide instructional and classroom support to students in inclusive learning environments.

  • Assist students individually and in small groups with academic assignments and classroom activities.

  • Reinforce lessons and instructional strategies provided by classroom teachers.

  • Support student participation, engagement, and independence in the classroom.

  • Assist with classroom organization, learning materials, and instructional activities.

  • Monitor student performance and communicate observations to teachers and school staff.

  • Support positive behavior, social development, and classroom routines.

  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff.

  • Maintain student confidentiality and comply with school policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or relevant college coursework preferred.

  • Previous experience working with children or students in an educational setting is preferred.

  • Ability to follow teacher direction, instructional plans, and classroom procedures.

  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and classroom support skills.

  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
