Rate of pay: $16.85 – $18.96. Final compensation is based on factors such as the skills, qualifications, and experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead youth sports classes, teaching basic skills and techniques in various sports (e.g., soccer, basketball, baseball).

  • Demonstrate proper techniques and provide constructive feedback.

  • Ensure that each child participates actively and develops a love for physical activity.

  • Monitor the safety of all participants during practices, games, and activities.

  • Ensure that sports equipment is properly maintained and safe for use.

  • Enforce safety rules and ensure children follow instructions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community.

  • Previous experience in coaching, teaching, or working with children in a recreational or sports setting (1-2 years preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Multi-lingual skills

  • Additional qualifications specific to each program (such as certifications or degrees in dance, sports, or education)
