RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST

WEST MONTANA AREA

(MISSOULA, HAMILTON, POLSON, BUTTE, HELENA)

Are you a licensed Radiologic Technologist looking to expand your expertise in a specialized field with paid training and no micromanagement? HealthTronics offers a flexible, rewarding opportunity for techs who want to work independently while making an impact in patient care. We provide paid training in Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL), a cutting-edge, non-invasive procedure used to treat kidney stones. You'll work alongside top Urologists, ensuring precision in patient positioning and equipment operation.

What Makes this Position So Unique & Highly Coveted?

This route is one of our established routes that is shared with another Radiologic Technologist. It requires someone who is team-oriented and highly communicative. You will be splitting the route 50/50%. One week traveling throughout Montana and one week at home on call.

NOTE: On call typically means you help cover for team PTO occasionally or for unexpected events. On-call weeks may require you to work one day of the week if any. Potentially more when coordinating PTO events between you and your team. Even though you're regularly scheduled less than 40 hour/week every other week, you will still get paid for 40 hours/week minimum. If you work OT during your travel weeks, you will be paid an OT rate. This route requires servicing multiple hospitals, surgery centers throughout the Western Montana area. Territory of coverage includes:

  • Helena

  • Butte

  • Missoula

  • Great Falls

  • Billings

  • Bozeman

What You’ll Do:

Become an ESWL expert with paid training (no prior lithotripsy experience required!)

Travel to partner hospitals & surgical centers—listen to your favorite music or podcast while on the road!

Assist Urologists in lithotripsy procedures, ensuring accurate positioning and imaging.

Load, unload & set up mobile lithotripsy equipment (we provide all necessary tools and training).

Ensure patient safety & compliance with hospital protocols and HIPAA guidelines.

What We’re Looking For:

ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist with an active state license

Detail-oriented and tech-savvy—comfortable using EMR & modern imaging equipment

Strong communication & teamwork skills—you’ll be working with physicians & OR staff

Valid driver’s license & DOT Prescreening Required—travel is required, but we provide the vehicle!. With training, you will be required to drive a 30' freightliner for transporting medical devices between facilities.
