Full job description

Description 🤓 TripleTen is an EdTech company that designs and runs tech career learning programs for the US and Latin American markets. We've been doing it for over five years, teaching complete beginners — people with no prior tech background — through cohort-based programs built on our own platform and curriculum, developed in partnership with Nebius AI. Our team is fully remote and globally distributed, and we serve a large, active student base across both regions.

We are looking for a Learning Experience Designer who will design and build skill-based learning programs from the ground up, translating complex subject matter expertise into clear, actionable, and engaging educational experiences.

What you will do

  • Design and build skill-based learning programs from the ground up in close collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs): turn their expertise into clear competencies, learning outcomes, and meaningful practice.
  • Write learning content at every level of detail: program competencies, curriculum outlines, modules, lessons, and the lesson content itself (explanations, examples, practice tasks, projects, and assessments).
  • Design learning experiences using scaffolding principles to gradually build learner independence.
  • Take part in curriculum and product decisions based on customer development interviews, qualitative and quantitative learning data, and research. Form hypotheses, validate design decisions, and address learner pain points.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, SMEs, Curriculum Developers, Instructors, and Designers.
  • Contribute to the evolution of learning design standards and best practices across curricula.

Requirements What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience as a Learning Experience Designer (LXD) or Instructional Designer, with a proven track record of building complex, skill-based learning programs from scratch.
  • Proficient level of English (from B2 level) with exceptional writing skills, capable of crafting clear, engaging, and pedagogically sound learning materials.
  • Demonstrated mastery of curriculum mapping, competency-based education, instructional scaffolding, and assessment design.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to effectively interview SMEs, extract implicit knowledge, and align with product and content teams.
  • Data-informed approach to learning design, using qualitative feedback (CustDev) and quantitative performance data to iterate on educational content.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience working in fast-paced EdTech or modern product environments.
  • Hands-on experience with modern LXD tools, LMS platforms, and user research methodology.
  • Background in developing technical or highly specialized curricula.
