Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Wound Care Physician, you will provide expert care within our thriving Dignity Health Wound Care practice in Prescott, AZ. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a board-certified general surgeon or interventional cardiologist.

seeking to contribute to a well-established and growing team.

Every day you will work within a group practice with:

  • Project Volumes: 4-500 patients per month

  • Outpatient only

  • Mon-Fri 8am -5pm

  • Procedures - Please describe: sharp debridement, application of skin substitutes, total contact casting for offloading, work with an RN, supervision of hyperbarics.

  • No call

  • Additional practice details: Established hospital outpatient wound care and hyperbaric clinic since 2012. The only wound care and hyperbaric clinic in northern AZ. Also have Ostomy certified RN’s, Occupational and Physical therapist performing Lymphedema treatment. Ten exam rooms, clinic sees an average of 50-60 patients per day. Two hyperbaric chambers, works closely with the Vein Center Vascular Surgeon for venous and arterial patient care. Collaboration with Infectious Disease physician in clinic.

To be successful in this role, you will possess 1+ years of wound care experience. If trained in hyperbarics already, preferred. If no certification will expect getting the certification within first 3 months of hire. Level: 1+ years experience performing wound care procedures.

We are offering a competitive 2 year salary guarantee then RVU-based, a sign-on bonus, full benefits, CME allowance, Malpractice with tail coverage, and relocation assistance for eligible candidates. We also offer a retirement plan with employer match. Qualified candidates may also be eligible for student loan repayment.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Completion of a residency in Surgical specialty, Internal Medicine,Family Practice or Interventional Cardiology.

  • Current BC/BE Surgical specialty, Internal Medicine,Family Practice or Interventional Cardiology.

  • Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona

  • Valid DEA certificate

Pay Range

$280,000 - $335,000 /yearly
