Work You'll Do

Support the development of cybersecurity strategies, operating models, maturity assessments, and multi-year transformation roadmaps.

Assess current-state cybersecurity capabilities, processes, governance structures, and organizational readiness.

Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement across cybersecurity programs.

Translate federal cybersecurity requirements and industry frameworks into actionable recommendations and implementation plans.

Support work related to governance, risk, and compliance; cybersecurity program management; enterprise risk; and performance management.

Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, working sessions, and fact-finding activities.

Develop executive briefings, decision materials, status reports, white papers, process documentation, and presentations.

Analyze qualitative and quantitative information to develop findings, recommendations, and implementation priorities.

Track project plans, milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies.

Collaborate with client stakeholders, technical specialists, project leadership, and cross-functional delivery teams.

Contribute to quality assurance, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement activities.

Support proposal development, internal knowledge sharing, and development of reusable cybersecurity approaches and assets.

Our Cyber Strategy & Transformation offering develops and transforms cyber programs in line with a client's strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite. It keeps the enterprise a step ahead of the evolving threat landscape and gives stakeholders confidence in the organization's cyber posture. Includes design of the cyber organization, governance, and risk assessments.
Qualifications
Required:

Bachelor's degree
-
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
-
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role

3+ years of experience within the following:
-
Experience in cybersecurity consulting, cyber strategy, technology risk, governance, compliance, transformation, or a related area.
-
Experience developing client-ready presentations, reports, analyses, and recommendations.
-
Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, risk management, governance, and organizational transformation.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,500- $170,900.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
