Assistant Project Manager

Assistant Project Manager | Hyperscale Data Center Construction

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of hyperscale data center construction projects.

• Manage project schedules, documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and client stakeholders.

• Track project costs, budgets, risks, and key deliverables.

• Support procurement, commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities.

• Maintain project controls and ensure timely completion of critical project milestones.

• Utilize Procore and Bluebeam to manage project workflows, documentation, and collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience supporting commercial, mission-critical, or data center construction projects.

• Previous hyperscale or data center construction experience.

• Procore and Bluebeam Revu experience.

• Strong understanding of construction project management principles, scheduling, and project controls.

• Experience managing project documentation, subcontractor coordination, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with commissioning and turnover of critical infrastructure systems.

• Exposure to MEP systems and mission-critical environments.

This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $100.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
