Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support key financial activities for a major organization in Juno Beach, Florida. This Long-term Contract position focuses on balance sheet reconciliation, cash flow review, and financial analysis across two large business units while partnering closely with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong accounting judgment, advanced Excel capability, and experience working with large enterprise systems and AI-enabled tools in a fast-paced onsite environment.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile account balances and validate financial data across two large business segments to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Review cash flow activity, investigate variances, and provide clear insights to support financial decision-making.

• Partner with accounting and finance team members to resolve discrepancies and maintain reliable reporting records.

• Apply AI-based tools and advanced spreadsheet analysis to improve efficiency in reconciliation and review processes.

• Support due diligence activities and contribute accounting expertise for merger and acquisition-related work when needed.

• Prepare and review regulatory and financial reporting materials, including work tied to FERC-related requirements where applicable.

• Work within large-scale enterprise systems to research transactions, document findings, and maintain audit-ready support.

• Perform onsite collaboration daily with cross-functional teams to address accounting issues and meet project timelines. Requirements • 7+ years of accounting experience, including significant work in general ledger and account reconciliation.

• Strong knowledge of cash flow analysis and the ability to identify and explain balance fluctuations.

• Experience with regulatory reporting; exposure to FERC reporting is preferred.

• Background supporting due diligence or M& A-related accounting activities is highly valued.

• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial data.

• Familiarity with AI platforms and large enterprise accounting systems is preferred.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while managing detailed financial tasks with accuracy.

• Availability to work onsite daily in Juno Beach, Florida.
