Job Description A water/wastewater design engineer plans, designs, and manages the construction of water and wastewater systems. They work on projects that involve water treatment, distribution, and collection.

Water/Wastewater Design Engineer Position Type: Full Time Office: Warrington and Malvern, PA Salary Range: $60,000 to $90,000 annually Position Description: Involvement in all aspects of engineering work associated with the planning, design, operation, and construction phase services for wastewater treatment plants, sanitary sewers, sewage force mains and pump stations, water distribution systems and booster pump stations. Responsibilities:

  • Design tasks include site layout, treatment and pumping systems, utility design, and permitting.

  • Report preparation.

  • Preparation of permit applications.

  • Review of subdivision plans and utility plans submitted by developers for approval.

  • Administration of utility construction projects. Qualifications Requirements:

  • BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure engineering.

  • Proficient in using AutoCAD Civil 3D for pipeline projects.
