Full job description

Position: RN - Admissions Nurse

Shift: 10am-6:30pm

Status: Full-Time

As the admissions nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • coordinating new patient admissions and readmissions

  • coordinating transfers and discharges

  • assisting with MDS assessments and other routine documentation

  • completing assessments of patients with acute illnesses

  • coordinating physician and family notification

  • assisting with order completion.

  • on-call responsibilities

  • other duties necessary to provide support and contribute to strong teamwork

Required Qualifications:

  • current licensure in the state of Wisconsin as a Registered Nurse

  • degree from an accredited school of nursing

  • working every other weekend and every other holiday is required

*Full-time: 30+ hours per week
