Full job description
Prepare Operating Room Set up surgical instruments and equipment.Ensure the operating room is sterile and ready for procedures.Verify the functionality of surgical equipment.Assist During Surgical Procedures Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedures.Anticipate the needs of the surgical team.Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgery.Provide Direct Patient Care Assist with patient positioning and draping.Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery.Provide post-operative care as needed.Maintain Sterility and Infection Control Follow strict infection control protocols.Sterilize instruments and equipment after use.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Document and Report Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures.Report any issues or concerns to the Operating Room Supervisor.Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and organizational standards.
