Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a marketing-minded Senior Go-to-Market (GTM) Specialist to join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Edge team. In this role you will own the content and enablement engine behind the AWS Edge Services portfolio translating complex technical capabilities into compelling, customer-ready narratives, campaigns, and sales assets that accelerate pipeline and adoption worldwide.
This is a highly cross-functional, builder-oriented role for someone who thrives at the intersection of marketing, sales enablement, and product. You will create and maintain the GTM content library, support demand-generation and social campaigns, and equip the global field (Account Teams, Specialists, and Partners) with the messaging, playbooks, and tools they need to win. You will partner closely with Product Marketing, Service teams, field sales, and events to ensure a consistent, high-quality story across every customer touchpoint.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who writes exceptionally well, moves fast, measures impact, and is comfortable operating with ambiguity in a rapidly evolving technology space. You are equally comfortable drafting a solution brief, briefing a field seller, and partnering with social and demand-gen teams to amplify a launch.
Key job responsibilities
Content Creation & Maintenance:
Collaborate with marketing, service team. Create, own, and continuously maintain the Edge GTM content library solution briefs, pitch decks, one-pagers, FAQs, battlecards, customer-facing narratives, and web content across the full Edge portfolio.
Translate technical service capabilities and launches into clear, benefit-led messaging tailored to Technical Decision Makers, Builders, and Business Leaders.
Establish a single source of truth for GTM assets, retiring stale content and keeping messaging current with product roadmap, pricing, and competitive changes.
Campaign Support/Demand Generation:
Develop campaign content, messaging frameworks, and creative assets that drive awareness, pipeline, and adoption.
Support integrated campaigns tied to launches and sales motions. Contributing outreach, copy/messaging, and nurture assets, and helping measure performance.
Apply a data-driven lens: track engagement, share of voice, and campaign outputs, and iterate messaging based on results.
Field & Partner Enablement:
Design and deliver enablement programs, playbooks, and training that equip the global field (Account Teams, Specialists, SAs) and partners to position and sell Edge services with confidence.
Support and maintain sales plays and GTM narratives that connect customer problems to Edge solutions and clear next steps.
Act as a connective tissue between Product Marketing, service teams, and the field gathering feedback and closing content and enablement gaps.
About the team
The WWSO Edge GTM team drives the worldwide go-to-market strategy for the AWS Edge Services portfolio, spanning two major pillars:
Protected Perimeter: Amazon CloudFront (content delivery), AWS WAF, AWS Shield, and related edge security and networking services that keep customer applications fast, available, and secure at global scale.
Streaming Media: The AWS Elemental Media Services portfolio (live and on-demand video processing, packaging, ad insertion and delivery) powering broadcast and streaming experiences for the world’s largest media and entertainment customers as well as IVS, a near-real time interactive video service platform.
As part of WWSO, this team sits at the center of AWS’s specialist sales motion working across field sales, Product Marketing, service product teams, and partners to build and scale repeatable GTM motions, sales plays, and enablement programs that grow the Edge business.
