The Department of Social Sciences is seeking candidates with expertise teach introductory and intermediate courses on campus for the Spring 2027 in Criminal Justice

Job Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate level credit in Criminal Justice or related field from an accredited college, university or a foreign equivalent

OR

  • Master's degree from an accredited college, university or a foreign equivalent with a minimum 5 years of work-related experience in the field of Criminal Justice

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • College teaching experience.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and other languages will be considered.

Additional Information:

  • Adjunct rate of pay for the 26/27 academic year is $1,527/credit hour. Classes will be assigned on an as needed basis dependent upon enrollment.

  • Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.
