You’ll bring a blend of scientific curiosity and analytical problem‑solving to troubleshoot challenges and uncover effective solutions, using your hands‑on mechanical expertise to keep work moving smoothly. As you navigate common production obstacles, you’ll rely on established procedures and policies to make sound, well‑informed decisions. Above all, you’ll champion a strong safety culture—ensuring every activity aligns with worker protection standards—and consistently uphold the highest levels of procedural discipline and operational excellence.

We’d Love to Hear from People With:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)

• 5+ years of production experience in the nuclear, chemical, or manufacturing industry

• A strong mechanical aptitude and passion for precision craftsmanship

• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

• The ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance.

A Successful Candidate Brings:

• Experience in centrifuge or enrichment technology

• A current or active Q-Clearance

• Hands-on expertise as a Qualified Assembly Technician for Rotor, Column, Lower Suspension, or Upper Suspension Assemblies

• Experience with filament winding and high-precision manufacturing processes

Pay

Estimated Starting Base Salary: $80,310-95,000. This position is Incentive eligible. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. While the posted range reflects the anticipated hiring range for this position, compensation above the range may be considered for candidates with exceptional qualifications and directly relevant experience.

This position will require a pre­-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.

This position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance. In addition, once employed, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government. Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
