Sr. Accountant

Description

My client is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join a growing organization and play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and analysis for multiple operating entities. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys owning the close process, improving procedures, and partnering with operations in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.

• Analyze financial results and provide explanations for significant fluctuations.

• Support fixed assets, capital projects, budgets, audits, and special projects.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

• Strong general ledger, journal entry, and account reconciliation experience.

• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement reporting.

• Advanced Excel skills and experience working within an ERP system.

• Self-starter with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
