Carpentry Technician

We are currently seeking a CARPENTRY TECHNICIAN with a minimum of 3 years of proven carpentry experience, to provide a range of construction skills and renovation skills to help restore residential and commercial properties damaged by water, fire, smoke, wind, and other perils. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who has a wide range of remodeling skills, a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. ** ** Carpentry Technician Qualifications: - A minimum of 3 years of proven professional carpentry or remodeling experience. - High school diploma or GED equivalent - A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record - Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen (pre-employment and random) - Must reside with a 30-mile radius of the Swartz Restoration office in Lima, OH - Experience with drywall, trim work, painting, cabinetry, flooring (tile, hardwood, laminate, vinyl, etc.), and other general home improvements/remodeling. - Must be proficient using carpentry tools and equipment & own a set of standard hand & power tools - Professional appearance & attitude - The ability to interact with our customers on a professional & friendly level and ensure client satisfaction at all times. - Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions - Dedicated to consistently perform quality work - Must be willing to participate in the rotating on call schedule to respond to emergency jobs on evenings and weekends. ** ** Responsibilities/Job Duties: Complete assigned punch list repairs in reconstruction projects while following the scope of work and adhering to project timelines. (Workload will focus on finish carpentry).
