Full job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Senior Systems Analyst – Finance to join our IT team. In this role, you will design, support, and enhance SAP ERP and related finance applications that enable critical business processes. Working closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders, you will drive process improvements, support daily operations, and lead technology initiatives that deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Finance and business leaders to analyze processes, gather requirements, and design effective system solutions.

  • Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices across SAP and related applications.

  • Provide ongoing support for finance systems, including troubleshooting issues, managing service requests, and resolving user inquiries.

  • Configure and implement system enhancements while ensuring compliance with SOX, SOD, and internal control requirements.

  • Coordinate and execute testing activities, including unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.

  • Develop and maintain system documentation, training materials, and support resources.

  • Lead or support IT projects through all phases, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

  • Manage small to medium-sized projects, including scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business users, and external consultants to ensure successful project outcomes.

This role is ideal for a collaborative IT professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges, leading projects, and leveraging technology to improve finance operations.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • 8-10+ years of experience configuring, supporting, and/or implementing SAP ECC and S/4HANA FI/CO/CO-PA solutions.

  • Advanced expertise in SAP Controlling (CO) and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).

  • Strong understanding of SAP FICO integration with Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and Sales & Distribution (SD) modules.

  • Deep knowledge of controlling processes, including:

  • Cost and profit center accounting

  • Internal orders and budgeting

  • Product costing and cost component structure design

  • Bill of Materials (BOM) concepts and their impact on costing

  • Sales order costing

  • Standard costing versus moving average costing and related management reporting implications

  • Actual costing and Material Ledger

  • Extensive experience with CO-PA, including:

  • Profitability analysis and value flow reporting

  • Allocations and top-down distributions

  • Account-based CO-PA configuration and support

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business process optimization skills.

Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer potential candidates. Provided is the national pay range for this position which is $111,000 to $177,000 per year. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 15% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $127,600 to $203,500. -Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
