Job Description

The HR Services Analyst supports the day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of employee benefits, HR operations, payroll processes, and HR technology programs. This role serves as a key member of the HR Shared Services function, helping ensure the accurate and timely delivery of employee services and HR programs.

Primary responsibilities include benefits administration, HR systems support, employee data management, vendor coordination, invoice reconciliation, payroll quality control, and reporting. The role partners closely with employees, internal HR stakeholders, payroll teams, and third-party vendors to resolve issues, maintain data integrity, and support a positive employee experience.

Additional responsibilities include leave administration, workers' compensation support, system testing, audits, reporting, compliance activities, and process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and service quality across HR operations.

Skills and Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and trace issues across multiple systems and data sources.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of employee benefits administration and payroll processes.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn, troubleshoot, and optimize HR systems.
  • Ability to reconcile complex employee, payroll, eligibility, and vendor data.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage recurring deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees, HR partners, vendors, and technical resources.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information appropriately.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to quickly learn HR technology platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Three or more years of experience in HR operations, benefits administration, HRIS, payroll support, or a related HR function.
  • Hands-on experience administering employee benefit programs and resolving benefit eligibility, enrollment, billing, or deduction issues.
  • Experience performing payroll audits, payroll quality control, or payroll reconciliation.
  • Experience working with HRIS, payroll, and benefit administration systems required; experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Experience working with HR vendors, benefit carriers, third-party administrators, and system support teams
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CEBS, or other relevant professional certification
