Here, you don't just manage a vent. You help a child breathe, grow and go home.
The children at PSC Philadelphia are medically fragile, and many depend on ventilators and trachs every day. As their RT, you're not a pager to answer between floors. You're a clinical leader at the bedside, and your judgment shapes their progress, from vent settings to weaning to the day a family learns to manage care at home.
Why RTs choose PSC:
-
Know your patients.Care for the same kids for months, not hours. See the weaning trial that works, the first word after a trach change, the milestone no one expected.
-
Practice at the top of your license.Pediatric vent management, trach care, airway clearance and weaning, with real autonomy.
-
Deeper care, steadier pace. All the complexity of pediatric critical care without the acute-care churn.
-
A team that has your back.Nursing, physicians, therapy and RTs work side by side, with continuity instead of quick hand-offs.
-
Room to grow.Pediatric vent experience is hard to find and highly valued. Build it here.
What you get:
-
$40–$51/hour, based on experience, plus shift differentials
-
Health coverage, 401(k) with employer match and paid time off
-
Free parking
