Aspirus Health in WAUSAU, WI is seeking a BENEFITS REPRESENTATIVE to join our HUMAN RESOURCES team!

The Benefits Representative provides excellent customer service in response to benefit plan inquiries and is responsible for the transactional processing of all Aspirus benefit plan changes including, but not limited to, enrollments, transfers, terminations, and life events. In addition, the Benefits Representative conducts new hire audits and provides back-up assistance to the Benefits Administrators. As a member of the Total Rewards Team, provides support as needed to ensure customer needs are met.

HOURS: Full Time, 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every two weeks

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of human resources, benefits, and HR Systems (HRIS) normally acquired through completion of an Associate’s Degree in business, management or human resources.

• One to two years of experience in HR required with employee benefit plan knowledge or experience preferred.

• Previous HRIS and/or payroll experience preferred.

• Critical thinking, verbal, written and public speaking competence, Microsoft Office Suite competence, analytical, and problem solving, collaborative, a bility to function independently and in a team environment, ability to adapt readily to a changing healthcare environment, ability to maintain organizational confidentiality, ability to observe, listen and follow through on assigned tasks, occasional travel.

• Annual competencies as required by Aspirus and/or various regulatory agencies based on entity and/or job position.
