Full job description
illumicell AI builds a 3D holographic imaging and AI platform that makes cells machine readable. Our lab is at the Pagliuca Harvard Life Lab in Allston.
The role Hourly, flexible hours. You run our bench experiments in 2 to 3 hour sessions. Our team designs the protocols and guides every run. You execute them precisely and log every step. You will work with fresh and frozen human semen samples.
What you'll do
- Prepare and load samples on Leja slides
- Run Tyrode serial dilutions
- Capture manual reference reads and videos on a brightfield microscope
- Cryopreserve and thaw samples in liquid nitrogen
- Record results and upload data the same day
What you bring
- Andrology or embryology lab experience: manual concentration and motility reads (Leja, Makler or hemocytometer)
- Precise pipetting and clean serial dilutions
- Brightfield microscopy with manual focus
- BSL-2 and bloodborne pathogens training
- You follow a protocol to the letter
- Boston based, able to come in on short notice when samples arrive
Nice to have: CITI human subjects certification
