Director of Ambulatory Surgery Centers Summary
-
Participate in planning, policy development, and priority setting for all BayCare Outpatient Surgery Centers.

Ensure that Outpatient Surgical Services and other assigned clinical areas have policies that are consistent with the overall goals of the health system.

Ensure compliance in the provision of care to quality and safety standards.

Maintain a competent workforce adhering to regulatory guidelines (financial, employment, AHCA/JCAHO, and established national standards of care).

Collaborate with other directors, administrators, medical staff, and departments to provide and maintain optimal services in a cost-effective manner.

Promote evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Experience
-
5 years of surgical-related experience
-
5 years of management experience or 3 years of surgery management experience
Education
-
Required: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field
-
Preferred: Master's degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field
Credentials
-
Required: Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC)
-
Required: Valid Florida Driver's License
-
Preferred: Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
