The Staff Accountant helps keep the hotel’s financial operations accurate and running smoothly. Responsibilities include reviewing daily revenue, reconciling accounts across rooms, food and beverage, and events, supporting accounts payable and receivable, preparing journal entries, and assisting with month-end close and financial reporting.

The Staff Accountant partners with colleagues across the hotel to investigate variances, resolve billing questions, maintain clear financial records, and support sound business decisions. This role suits a detail-oriented professional who enjoys collaboration and wants to grow in a supportive hospitality environment.

Qualifications:

• An associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.

• At least one year of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience; hospitality experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Comfort using spreadsheets and accounting or financial systems; hotel systems experience is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize work around recurring deadlines.

• Clear communication, sound judgment with confidential information, and a collaborative approach.

• Flexibility to support month-end close and occasional operational needs.
