Jockey is seeking a Steamstress to join our team in Kenosha, WI. This role will also provide assistance in various product development projects such as assisting with garment assembling, fabric/garment evaluations, prototyping etc. If you enjoy sewing, this position is “tailor” made for you!

Job Duties:

  • Construct prototype garments using experimental fabrics, components, and pattern templates.

  • Discuss garment construction and procedures with collaborators.

  • Verify pattern, construction, and specifications are production-ready.

  • Provide assistance to the team with various sewing projects.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • High school degree or equivalent.

  • Sewing experience required. (While previous industrial sewing experience is a plus, we are willing to train motivated, hardworking candidates.)

  • Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Basic Word, Excel, Outlook computer skills.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

  • Authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
