Freelance Sr. Designer

Our client, a leading retailer, is looking for a Freelance Sr. Designer to join their team. This is a hybrid onsite / remote role (preferably 3 days onsite per week and 2 days remote). The role will be 40 hours per week for the next 4-5 months, with potential to extend or go full-time.Key Responsibilities * Lead the development of bold, innovative creative across digital, print, video, motion, broadcast, and retail channels. * Translate brand and business goals into compelling concepts, visual storytelling, and campaign ideas. * Create storyboards and narrative-driven creative that bring ideas to life. * Leverage AI and emerging technologies for ideation, visual exploration, prototyping, and content creation. * Stay ahead of cultural, consumer, and design trends to deliver relevant, forward-thinking work. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams and confidently present creative concepts to stakeholders.What We're Looking For * Exceptional portfolio showcasing strong design, storytelling, and campaign work across multiple mediums. * Strategic and conceptual thinker with the ability to turn insights into impactful creative. * AI-forward creative who actively incorporates AI tools into the design process. * Strong understanding of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and brand design. * Experienced in storyboarding and/or TV creative development. * Collaborative communicator who thrives in fast-paced environments.Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent experience. * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Figma, motion design, AI, or prototyping tools is a plus. * Strong presentation, communication, and project management skills. * Experience preparing production-ready assets and partnering with production teams.In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
