Full job description
JOB PURPOSE:
Designing, constructing, and repairing removable oral prosthetics, like dentures, for patients with missing teeth.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Take impressions that are used to construct, reline, and repair dentures
-
Denture adjustments (bite registrations, hard and soft relines)
-
Delivers dentures and partial dentures
-
Conducting oral examinations
-
Selecting tooth shade and bite

Fabricating and fitting the prosthetics

Insert the completed dentures into the patient's mouth, making necessary adjustments for fit, comfort, and appearance
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

High School Education or equivalent

Active Denturist license
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Possess excellent manual dexterity for the precise construction and fitting of dental appliances
-
Exhibit strong communication skills for patient interaction and education
-
Apply creativity in the design and fabrication of prosthetics for aesthetic and functional outcomes
