Rail Installer

Description:

ALCAL SPECIALTY CONTRACTING, INC. IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING RESUMES FOR

RAIL INSTALLERS

POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Hourly

LOCATION: Kapolei, HI

BENEFITS: Union

WAGE SCALE: Union Wages

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Ensures there is sufficient and appropriate material and equipment on truck to adequately complete the job.

  • Drives to and from the job site and unloads materials at the job site.

  • Cleans job site daily.

  • Install railings securely and accurately, ensuring they meet safety codes and regulations.

  • Checks work for errors and corrects them if necessary.

  • Accounts for material and time used on each job, and reports paperwork daily.

  • Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Proven experience as a Railing Installer or similar role.

  • A valid HI drivers license (with a good driving record).

  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

  • Ability to lift in excess of 75 lbs.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Regular attendance is required.
