**General Manager | Aspen Suites Hotel Fairbanks ** Fairbanks, Alaska Full-Time | Salaried JL Hospitality Management is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead Aspen Suites Hotel Fairbanks. Were looking for an experienced hotel leader who takes ownership, builds a strong team, and understands how to balance guest service, property standards, and financial performance. **What Youll Do ** Lead daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance. Maintain property standards and follow JL Hospitality Management policies and operating procedures. Recruit, train, coach, and develop associates and department leaders. Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and hold your team accountable. Monitor guest feedback, resolve concerns promptly, and identify opportunities to improve service. Manage budgets, staffing, labor costs, and operating expenses to meet financial goals. Review financial reports and take action to improve profitability, occupancy, and revenue per available room (RevPAR). Partner with the sales team to grow business and build relationships with local businesses and the community. Keep the property clean, safe, and well maintained. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and health and safety requirements. **What Were Looking For ** At least two years of related hotel management experience. A proven record of leading hotel operations and achieving financial goals. Previous General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience at a select-service or extended-stay hotel preferred. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team. Working knowledge of hotel budgets, financial statements, labor management, and cost controls. Strong communication, organization, guest service, and problem-solving skills. The ability to prioritize, delegate, and follow through in a busy hotel environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel operating systems. **Schedule ** Hotel operations run seven days a week.
