Inside Sales Consultant | Path to Hybrid Sales FASTSIGNS

IN-SHOP ROLE WITH GROWTH OPPORTUNITY Start in the shop. Grow into the field. Join a locally owned FASTSIGNS center backed by an established international franchise network. You will use thoughtful questions, practical judgment, and creative problem-solving to turn customers’ branding ideas into real-world visual experiences. The right person enjoys discovering what a business needs, recommending solutions, and seeing those ideas come to life.

The Opportunity Begin as the welcoming, knowledgeable inside sales contact for walk-in, phone, text, email, and online customers. As you demonstrate product knowledge, sound judgment, reliable follow-through, and sales success, you may advance to a flexible hybrid role that includes scheduled site surveys and customer-requested business appointments. This is a consultative sales position, not a graphic design job.

Inside Sales | Core Responsibilities

  • Engage customers professionally; ask discovery questions about brand goals, location, dimensions, budget, timing, and decision-makers.
  • Explain samples and recommend suitable interior and exterior signage, including ADA signs, acrylic, dimensional lettering, murals, wayfinding, and branded spaces.
  • Prepare or coordinate estimates and proposals; follow up consistently on quotes, incoming leads, referrals, and past customers.
  • Capture accurate project details, communications, and next steps in CoreBridge; hand off clear scopes to design and production.
  • Process payments and purchase orders; coordinate work orders, approvals, and project status through completion.
  • Coordinate with production, vendors, and installers; keep customers informed about meaningful changes and pickup, delivery, or installation.
  • Quality-check completed orders before notifying customers; confirm satisfaction and help resolve concerns.
  • Keep the front counter and showroom welcoming, clean, and organized; support coworkers and company procedures.

Advancement | Hybrid / Flexible Sales With demonstrated readiness and approval, responsibilities may expand to:

  • Conduct scheduled site surveys to gather measurements, photos, installation conditions, and project requirements.
  • Attend customer-requested appointments at business locations to discuss branding goals and signage solutions.
  • Balance shop coverage with approved field appointments while maintaining prompt follow-up and accurate records. Important: This role starts primarily in the shop. Hybrid flexibility is an earned opportunity, not a guaranteed schedule; advancement depends on performance, readiness, staffing, and business needs.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Friendly, confident communicator with excellent listening, questioning, and relationship-building skills; comfortable asking for the sale.
  • Organized, responsive, accountable, and calm when balancing several customers, projects, and deadlines.
  • Curious, resourceful thinker who can visualize possibilities and solve customer problems without personally designing artwork.
  • Comfortable with computers, Google Workspace, customer systems, and accurate recordkeeping; practical math and measuring skills.
  • Customer-facing, retail, counter, or inside sales experience preferred; signage experience helpful but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; willingness to complete assigned FASTSIGNS training.

Who Thrives Here Someone who enjoys people, learns quickly, follows through, values teamwork, and takes pride in turning a customer’s idea into a finished brand experience. You will be part of a local team with access to the knowledge and resources of a recognized international signage network.

Pay, Benefits & Work Setting Compensation: Competitive pay with earned commissions. Benefits: Paid vacation and holidays, subject to eligibility and company policy. Setting: In-person retail sign center and light manufacturing environment; reports to the franchisee or center manager. Regular in-shop attendance is essential.

Equal Employment Opportunity & Other Duties Fast Saenz Inc. provides equal employment opportunities without unlawful discrimination under applicable law. Harassment and retaliation are prohibited. This description summarizes the role; duties may change with business needs and applicable law.
