Job Duties

About the Position:

This position supports a safe, functional, and compliant healthcare environment by maintaining building systems, responding to facility needs, documenting work performed, and coordinating with Plant Operations leadership to minimize disruption to patient care, staff, visitors, and facility operations. This position is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of the facility’s mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. This includes the operation of boilers, HVAC systems, and energy management controls. Ensures all work is performed in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including requirements set forth by Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). This role will include after-hours, weekend, and on-call responsibilities as required to support facility operations and patient care.

Minimum Education Required

Education and Experience:

Valid Second Class “B” Boilers License.

Must have valid Driver’s License.

·Moderate computer skills, including the ability to operate building automation systems and maintenance or work order software.

3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building operations, or related trade such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC preferred.

Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes and regulatory compliance standards preferred.

Technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or building systems preferred.
