Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) – Weekend Coverage

Description

Maine Veterans’ Homes – Scarborough is seeking Per Diem Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team and help meet our weekend staffing needs.

$42.42 per hour

+$4.00 evening differential

+$5.00 night differential

+$2.50 weekend differential — stacked

This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) looking for flexible per diem work while making a meaningful difference in the lives of Maine’s Veterans and their families. Our per diem RNs help provide coverage for weekends, holidays, and time-off requests for our full-time and part-time employees.

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) supervises the activities of direct care staff and promotes the highest quality of nursing services. The RN helps ensure plans of care are fulfilled according to Maine Veterans’ Homes quality standards.

Per Diem Requirements

  • Work an average of8 hours per two-week pay period

  • Work a minimum of16 weekend hours per month

  • Weekend availability is required

Requirements

  • Current Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

  • Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing in English

  • Basic computer skills
