Your role at BHSN:
As a Home Visitor You will have a caseload of families that live in Franklin County. You will provide support and activities to families that will enhance the parent –child relationship
We have a community and child-focused approach to support the North Country families; we partner with the community to build happy, healthy, safe and school ready children and families.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

What your day might look like:
-
This is a home visiting position partnering with expectant and new parents in order to develop and perform community outreach and assessments

Connecting families to resources in order to support their baby's needs in the areas of cognitive, physical, social and emotional development, health, safety and assist with bonding and attachment.

Conducting quality assurance reviews to participant's files to ensure all documentation adheres to HFA and HFNY standards
Your skills and qualifications:

High school diploma and seven years’ related experience required; bachelor’s degree plus three years’ related experience preferred; college coursework counts towards related experience

Demonstrable knowledge of local/community resources

Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the families served

Strong engagement, communication, time management and organizational skills required

Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation required for travel
