Full job description

Pangram is hiring its first Product Manager to join the team and own the product function from end-to-end.

Pangram is the world’s most accurate AI detection technology and a top-class research organization. We are now looking for someone to translate our research and our AI models into compelling products that make it easy for people to interact with in their work and in their lives across many different product surfaces. We have many surfaces for a small team: a web dashboard, Chrome extension, integrations, an API, and more to come.

You will work directly with the founders and engineers, talk to our customers regularly, and make calls about how to allocate our limited engineering resources. We are looking for someone that has made hard decisions and can clearly reason about tradeoffs.

The Role

  • Set product direction across Pangram’s surfaces: decide what new features to build, what to cut, and in what order

  • Scope and prioritize engineering work, and strategize on how to translate your product vision into clearly defined design and engineering specs

  • Run launches end-to-end, including planning, cross-functional coordination, GTM handoff, and post-launch action items

  • Own customer feedback and request triage

  • Talk to users constantly and use that feedback to inform product decisions

  • Lead the product sync and coordinate engineering, growth, and leadership

Requirements

  • 5 years in product management with at least one product you’ve owned outright

  • Consumer or prosumer experience. B2B experience is welcome but not sufficient on its own.

  • Technical fluency: need to be fluent with how AI and technical teams work but you don’t need to have been an engineer or have experience writing code

  • Proficiency with AI automation and design tools

  • Comfort and experience talking with customers

Nice to have

  • Experience in early stage startups as an early or founding PM

  • Experience with developer platforms, browser extensions, or education/edtech
