Over the course of 10-12 weeks, as a Finance Intern, you'll work in the Corporate Office located in Garner, NC. Interns experience a variety of exposure to projects that support our business within Accounting and Finance.

The program’s primary objective is to grow future leaders by providing professional development and a series of assignments in their specific area of academic and professional interest within the processing and manufacturing industry.

What you’ll do:

You’ll work alongside the accounting and finance department. This will include building ad-hoc reports, analyzing data, and collaborating with other departments. You will also assist with data reconciliation, help prepare monthly financial summaries, and participate in special projects such as variance reporting or inventory analysis. Throughout the process, you’ll gain exposure to financial systems, develop an understanding of internal workflows, and help identify opportunities for improvement.   What you’ll get:

  • Pursuing a Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Agribusiness, or related field with an expected graduation date of December 2028 through June 2029.

  • Demonstrated participation in extracurricular activity (leadership role preferred) .

  • Demonstrated strong academic performance.

  • We are looking for individuals who possess strong technical skills, balanced with personal integrity and effective communication skills.

  • Ability to show initiative, assume leadership, demonstrate a strong ability to work with others and get the job done – and do so the  Butterball Way .

  • All participants in this program are required to have a valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation to and from work.
