The on-site full-time Administrative Office Coordinator for Undergraduate Nursing collaborates with the remote part-time administrative office coordinator for undergraduate nursing. The coordinator reports to the Administrative Coordinator for Graduate Nursing and the Chair of Nursing.
The coordinator supports the nursing program in meeting the needs of the nursing students, faculty, institution, and external partners by initiating, establishing, and maintaining clinical contracts and all related documents; and by maintaining ongoing communication with all stakeholders. The undergraduate nursing office coordinator coordinates with faculty and the graduate nursing coordinator with placement, confirmation, and communication regarding students in clinical and lab sites- including student documentation related to orientation, health clearance, completion of mandatory orientation modules, and health clearance. This includes the creation, maintenance and oversight with faculty regarding student placement. In addition, this position also collaborates with the remote undergraduate coordinator and the faculty to ensure all agencies provide the appropriate experiences for students to achieve course, program, and NY State Ed and accreditation outcomes.
The Administrative Office Coordinator for Undergraduate Nursing will also assist undergraduate and graduate office coordinators and faculty to identify, track, and record requirements at each clinical placement site (such as orientation mandatories including completion of modules, pre- and post-tests) and communicate these clinical requirements to instructor and student groups in a timely manner. Additional responsibilities include overseeing database management and records management, communicating effectively to meet the needs of faculty and students, placing service tickets and work orders, assisting with reports- including appendices and virtual resources- and as needed with annual NYSED and AACN reports.
The estimated wage is $20 per hour for 37.5 hours per week for 52 weeks (12 months).

Baccalaureate Degree Preferred; will consider comparable training and experience

Advanced verbal and written communication skills

Advanced Skills in Microsoft Suite including Excel and all of Google Workspace

Previous office experience and ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced setting

Ability to organize and complete projects with or without supervision are essential
