Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed structural designs using industry-standard analysis and design software * Exercises judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation or modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. * Perform structural analyses, prepare reports, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates. * Review, prepare, and refine engineering designs, drawings, and technical documents. * Participate in project meetings, client discussions, and multidisciplinary coordination. * Conceptualizes the initial design approach for a major phase of a large project, or assumes overall responsibility for engineering work on a project of limited scope. * Plans, schedules, conducts, or coordinates engineering work involving conventional practices, which may include complex features such as conflicting design requirements. * Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. * Provides supervision of less experienced engineers or technical support personnel on an assignment basis (not as an ongoing substantial component of the role). * Attend site visits and on-site coordination meetings.
