Job Description As a senior tax manager, you will create internal taxation policies and incorporate these policies into current accounting procedures. Ultimately, you should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills because you will deal with clients at all levels.

Senior Tax Manager We are seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and planning for trusts, estates, and high-net-worth individuals. This role involves reviewing complex tax filings, providing strategic estate planning advice, and managing client relationships. The position offers strong growth potential and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  • Provide fiduciary, personal income, gift, and estate tax compliance and planning services.

  • Review individual, fiduciary, estate, and gift tax returns.

  • Oversee fiduciary accountings for estates and trusts.

  • Handle federal and state tax notices and audits.

  • Conduct tax research and develop tax-saving strategies.

  • Review and analyze estate planning legal documents.

  • Manage client relationships and oversee client accounts.

  • Lead business development, including networking and writing industry-related articles.

  • Supervise and mentor staff, managing workloads and performance.

Qualifications Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; MST preferred.

  • CPA license required.

  • 10+ years of experience in trust, estate, and gift tax matters.

  • Experience in a public accounting firm required.

  • Strong expertise in tax compliance and estate/trust planning.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Experience with tax software and research tools preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
