JOB DESCRIPTION

Supply Tech Senior

The Senior Supply Technician serves as the lead contractor supporting Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES) SECREP management activities. This key position coordinates site-level operations, validates supply-chain data, maintains inventory accountability, manages asset movements, and provides expert technical advice to government personnel. The role may support co-located customers at I Marine Expeditionary Force, II Marine Expeditionary Force, III Marine Expeditionary Force in Okinawa, and Marine Forces Reserve.

A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Supply Tech Sr: ** Although this is not yet an approved position, we are accepting applications for this future and anticipated need. The applicable salary range will be posted promptly upon award of the contract and once funding for the position has been determined. No offer will be extended prior to posting the applicable salary range.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Supply Tech Sr Responsibilities Include:

  • Serve as the lead contractor at the assigned site and coordinate activities supporting SECREP program objectives.

  • Validate SECREP management data at the site.

  • Apply applicable laws, policies, regulations, and precedents to logistics planning and program execution and sustainment.

  • Ensure accurate site inventory records are maintained.

  • Ensure proper asset issue and receipt procedures are followed.

  • Execute government-approved redistribution of assets between sites.

  • Provide expert SECREP management advice to the government customer.

  • Develop and deliver weekly status reports on the site SECREP account.

  • Lead development of site-level briefs, documents, and other program communications.

  • Develop monthly and quarterly reports supporting program objectives, as required.

  • Perform other duties typical of or related to a site lead supporting co-located Marine Corps customers.

Supply Tech Sr Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; or a combination of post-high-school education, training, and experience that meets the position’s total qualification requirements.

  • Five to six years of experience managing the day-to-day functional operations and activities of a contractor workforce supporting military Reparable activities.

  • Five to six years of experience with inventory management, distribution assistance, stock positioning, sourcing, operational planning, and execution.

  • Five to six years of experience managing supply and maintenance transactions.

  • Five to six years of warehouse-management experience.

  • Five to six years of experience providing technical advice and instruction to personnel.

  • Three to five years of experience managing fiscal requirements and functions.

  • Ability to analyze problems, identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize and apply solutions.

  • Ability to plan and organize work to perform complex tasks successfully.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with personnel at multiple organizational levels and ranks.
