Essential Job Functions

  • Conduct onboarding, training refresher, compliance, and job-specific training for employees and temporary associates.

  • Deliver training in accordance with company policies, safety standards, operational procedures, and customer requirements.

  • Maintain training records, certifications, evaluations, and completion tracking.

  • Provide hands-on instruction for equipment operation, systems, processes, and safety practices.

  • Evaluate employee competency, provide coaching, and identify training or performance gaps.

  • Develop and maintain training materials, schedules, matrices, and supporting documentation.

  • Partner with Operations, Safety, Quality, and HR to support employee development and regulatory compliance.

  • Support audits, recertifications, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Identify training needs and implement solutions to improve performance and operational effectiveness.

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, safety, quality, and distribution processes.

  • Ability to effectively train, coach, and engage employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and documentation management.

  • Skilled in communicating procedures, work instructions, safety requirements, and system processes.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Safety, Quality, HR, IT, and leadership teams.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement capabilities.

  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment.

Physical Requirements

  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment.

  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.

  • Job may require presence on-site at the assigned work location.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of training, learning and development, or related experience.

  • Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, safety, quality, onboarding, or workforce development preferred.

  • Experience delivering classroom and hands-on training, conducting evaluations, and managing certification or compliance programs preferred.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

  • Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification required or ability to obtain certification.

  • Safety certification, training certification, or related coursework preferred.

  • Train-the-Trainer certification preferred.
