Healthcare Marketing Liaison
Position Summary
We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, and relationship-focused Healthcare Marketing Liaison to represent our healthcare company within local hospitals and the healthcare community.
This position is focused on building relationships, increasing awareness of our services, and converting opportunities into referrals and admissions. The Marketing Liaison will serve as a visible and enthusiastic representative of our organization, developing strong connections with hospital staff, healthcare professionals, patients, and families.
This is not a referral review or referral processing position. The Marketing Liaison is focused primarily on relationship building, marketing, follow-up, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospital staff, physicians, social workers, case managers, discharge planners, and other healthcare professionals.

Regularly visit hospitals and healthcare facilities to promote the organization and build new relationships.

Educate referral sources about our services, programs, strengths, and what sets our organization apart.

Identify opportunities to increase referrals and admissions through strong relationship development and consistent follow-up.

Build trust and credibility with referral sources and become a reliable point of contact within the hospital community.

Follow up on potential opportunities to help move them toward referral and admission.

Represent the organization at hospital meetings, community events, networking events, and other professional opportunities.

Maintain consistent communication with referral sources and provide excellent customer service throughout the referral process.

Collaborate closely with the Referral Specialist/Reviewer and Intake Specialist/Processing to ensure opportunities are appropriately communicated and transitioned through the referral process.

Communicate relevant referral and marketing information to the appropriate team members.

Track hospital visits, relationship-building activities, opportunities, and follow-up efforts.

Identify new marketing opportunities and provide feedback to leadership regarding hospital relationships, community needs, and competitive activity.

Help strengthen the organization’s reputation and presence within the healthcare community.
Reporting Structure
The Healthcare Marketing Liaison will report to and work closely with the VP of marketing services.
The Marketing Liaison’s primary responsibility is to create the relationship and generate the opportunity, while the Referral Specialist and Intake Specialist manages the review and processing portions of the referral.

Qualifications

Experience in a skilled nursing facility. (Rehabilitation, home health, hospice, assisted living, hospital, or another healthcare setting is a plus)

Previous experience in healthcare marketing, sales, business development, community outreach, or liaison work preferred

Familiarity with hospital discharge processes and healthcare referral relationships.
